Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and comprehensive S.T.E.A.M lesson plans that align with educational standards
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and respectful discourse.
- Lead hands-on experiments, projects, and real-world applications into lessons to deepen understanding and enhance retention.
- Tailor your teaching approaches to accommodate the distinct learning preferences and skills of each student, providing every individual with the chance to thrive.
- Assess student progress through various methods, provide constructive feedback, and offer additional support when needed.
- Stay current with the latest developments in S.T.E.A.M fields and teaching techniques to continuously improve your instruction.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to students interested in pursuing S.T.E.A.M careers, helping them set goals and navigate educational pathways.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and parents to foster a strong educational community that supports S.T.E.A.M learning.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Strong passion for S.T.E.A.M and a desire to inspire others.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in the success of your students.
- Familiarity with integrating technology in classroom instruction.
- Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in S.T.E.A.M education.
- Previous experience teaching at the k-12 level is preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
